DKB To Face Disqualification From Big Brother House For Slapping Fellow Housemate Zainab

Ghanaian comedian/ Big Brother Upville housemate may face disquLification for slapping fellow housemate Zainab who is from Sierra Leone. DKB got really upset when Zainab got into the bathroom while he was in the shower, he had warned her about this on several occassions. This time he confronted her about it but she was in no way remorseful, in fact when he threatened to slap her, she dared him, and he went on an slapped her twice. Fellow Ghanaian Keitta tried to stop him but to no avail. DKB was too upset to listen. DKB was then called to the diary room, it is unclear what the next step is but according to Big Brother rules any form of physical attack will result in disqualification.

Nominee List Of The 7th Nigerian Entertainment Award

The nominees list for this yeas Nigerian Entertainment Award was released at an event at Federal Palace Hotel on the 1st of June. There are 26 categories covering the music and movies industry, and Wizkid leads with six nominations, . Wiz is followed byTrybe Records boss eLDee, R&B star Tiwa Savage, Jazz-alternative singer Bez, pop singer Davido who all come in with three nods.

A tough category to watch out for is the ‘Best New Act of the Year’ which features Chidinma, Davido, MayD, Bez, BrymO, and Tiwa Savage. All five acts have done pretty well over the last year.

The awards will hold in New York City, on September 2, 2012.

'Is There Really Hope For Nigeria'? Videos Of Lagos Plane Crash Scene + List Of Passengers

It is precisely three days since I posted Stella Damasus' write up HERE, it was an article of hope, about how Nigeria will be better SOON, I must say I agreed with her, but right now I'm not so sure. It is hard to describe my state of mind when I first heard this tragic news, it felt too close to home.

I may be all the way in London but it definitely feels like I lost a family member, this could have been anyone. The most upsetting bit comes when you pile up the incidents that occurred this year alone. Do you remember how we started this year? I'll remind you, January 1st, we got the news about subsidy removal and we know how many lives followed that. Today alone, we had to endure the news of a plane crash killing all those on board, as well as news of the Christian worshipers in Bauchi who also lost their lives to Boko Haram. Where do we start?

Every time I pick up the Times or get on the CNN, it is always one negative story or the other, our people dying like we are worthless, why is life so cheap in my country? Maybe Stella isn't wrong, maybe there is still hope because after all, it could take one man for everything to turn around, with life there is hope ... Let's not loose hope, let's not quit the prayers. RIP to those who lost their lives, hopefully the bereaved families will find strength.

Timaya was born Enetimi Odom in 1977 In Bayelsa state. Then it was still part of Rivers state. He was born into a family of 17 children. His mother had three girls and four boys for his father, while his father had eight other children from another wife. Amongst all of them, the little statured Timaya was the last of them all.

Though his father worked in a bank and his mother was a trader, there was little to go round the family. Tough the parents tried their best, it was not an easy task raising all the children. Timaya being the last knew even as a little child that if he had to succeed, he would have to break off on his own.

Music notwithstanding, Timaya had been a rebel since his youth. He attended Assemblies of God Nursery and Primary School in Portharcourt. Though he was a quiet child, he could not be bullied. In fact he was feared. As a child, all he had in his head was how to make it in life.
