Olu Maintain Explains The Reason Behind His Brand New Look

Olu maintain, the 'yahooze' crooner is not only back with a brand new single but a brand new look. Is this a strategy to get more female attention to his recent work? I wonder. Well in a recent interview, he was asked  about this, and he said;

"Yeah! What inspired it is my boy, Bondo Crazy, we were in the states together, and he has an enviable body, and he challenged me ... So I took up the challenge and we enrolled in a gym, and one thing you can't take away from me is my determination towards anything, so my determination was that by December I want to step on stage and be able to rip off my clothes and people will judge who has more packs". (Laughs)

Well he just dropped a new single NAWTI (Natural African Woman Totally Inspiring) last month which has since been making waves, hopefully when the video is released, we ladies can happily be the judge of his new look.

Waje Recovers From Surgery + Drops New Single 'Na The Way' ft J Martins

Waje went through surgery on Saturday,October 1,2011, the songstress who was initially treating malaria narrated her story:-

I was not feeling too well so,I had to see my doctor. After receiving treatment, I went home only to find out I could not walk properly. It was really painful. After undergoing full scan, It was discovered I had appendicitis(an illness in which the appendix is infected and painful and usually needs to be removed by surgery). That was how I was booked for surgery I never planned. I thank God for saving my precious life.

I’m working slowly so as not to jeopardize my health. Although I am convalescing at home,I am trying to stay strong before resuming work. I hope to be strong to perform at the October 22 Hip Hop World Awards and other shows I have been booked 

But yesterday, she tweeted

"Thank you Jesus. Waje is here to stay mehn. ... Got back to work today,Nice! I love my Job,thank u Jesus 4 dis gift".

What do you do when someone wishes death upon you? Well a random twitter user, 'Akegag' tweeted

“Ruggedman deserves to die after making us endure all the wacky sh*t he makes us hear, It would be cool if he was dead though, wack rapper.”

In reply, Ruggedman tweeted

"RIP @Akegag !! So so sad" pls twitfam join me as i mourn the death of @Akegag may its soul rest ... please twifam, join me as I mourn the death of akegag, he died of a homosexual related disease, he was a gay.”

Well, Goldie took it upon herself to support Ruggedman, so she gave the guy a bit of her own by tweeting; 

“you are telling celebs that they should die, it is uncalled for. The other day, you said I wasn’t worth it, I ignored you.”

Baba Suwe's Drug Story Goes On International News Sites + NDLEA Clears Him?

The very loved Yoruba Comic Actor, Baba Suwe aka Babatunde Omidina was arrested on Wednesday the 12th at Muritala Mohammed International Airport by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for  possession of Cocaine. The alleged drugs were spotted in his stomach by a body scanning machine as he prepared for his Paris flight, but the actor completely denied being aware and allegedly refused to excrete the drugs.

Nonetheless, the latest update is that he has been cleared by NDLEA. According to PM News, after his first excretion nothing was found on him though this is inconclusive as it sometimes takes 4 excretion before such drugs eventually come out. On the other hand, Nigerian Films gathered that he was taken to a personal clinic and nothing was found on him, but these can only be taken as 'hear say' as NDLEA is yet to publish an official statement on this matter.

It should be noted that a few years back, Baba Suwe was reported to have been entangled in a similar mess, but then weeks after the report, he insisted the stories were mere rumours. Obviously, a great number of people have taken interest in the 'Baba Suwe Drug Story', even international news platforms like FOX NEWS and BBC NEWS are reporting it.
