PICTURE Baba Suwe In NDLEA Toilet + Court Grants 15 More Days To Detain Him

Comic actor, Baba Suwe has spent approximately 10days with NDLEA who held him on suspicion of drug possession. Just when we thought thing couldn't get any worse, this very demeaning picture of him in NDLEA's toilet leaked on-line, nonetheless, there are speculations that the image could have been Photoshop generated.

Also, updates indicates that despite the current outrage over  the continued detention of the famous comedian by NDLEA, 

" ... their request to hold on to their suspect for 15 more days was granted after they discovered what they considered more evidence (by Justice Okechukwu Okeke of a Federal High Court in Lagos) ... while on observation, Baba Suwe refused to eat claiming that he eats only once in three days." Channels TV reported.

The United States Again, Warns Her Citizens Of The Risk Of Travel To Nigeria

The United States has again, warned American citizens of the risks of travel to Nigeria, especially to areas like Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers, Abia, Edo, Imo, and also to Jos, Plateau State, Bauchi, Borno  and the Gulf of Guinea. They warned their citizens of "the risks of kidnapping, robbery, and other armed attacks" associated with these areas. The notice dated 13th October 2011 read;

"Violent crime committed by individuals and gangs, as well as by persons wearing police and military uniforms, remains a problem throughout the country," 

They also highlighted the suicide bombing at; the UN Headquarters in Abuja on August 26, the one at the Nigerian Police Force Headquarters 10 weeks earlier, as well as the 2010 bombings in Maiduguri, Suleja, and Jos. The notice didn't fail to point out that the risk of attacks on Westerners are even higher, this US travel warning replaces the last one, dated October 19, 2010. 

Obviously this shows that the situation in Nigeria isn't getting any better, in fact, the reverse is the case.

Uche Cosmos Is This Year's Dance 234 Winner

Dance 234 has finally come to an end, and after 13 weeks of intense competition, six contestants Jane Chude, Bryan Peters, Unoma Onywekwelu, Bamidele, Uche Cosmos and Emmy, made it to the final and  had to compete for the grand prize of a car, N1,000,000,  a car and a dance course abroad. The six contestants who performed individually and in groups, were judged by Preeye Yibowei, Brandiny and Maryanne.

In 4th place was Jane, Unoma was in 3rd place, Bryan came 2nd and Uche emerged the winner of this year's competition. Bryan and Unoma walked away with N750, 000 and N500, 000 respectively, aswell as a scholarship to study dance at the Society for performing Arts in Lagos for 3 semesters .

The producer, Jemila Musa discussed her motivation for the show, she said;

''Most dancers in Nigeria are not appreciated, besides there are more reality shows in singing than dancing, so the aim behind Dance 234 is to give the contestants the needed exposure ... the reality show will be a yearly event as the organizers are willing to make it an avenue where the quality dancers will be given the opportunity to prove their worth''.

There were rumours that Kenny Ogunbe (Keke) and Dayo Adeneye (D1) of Kennis Music had gone their separate ways, but the duo just debunked those rumours in the most UN-gentlemanly manner. Dayo posted this on his Facebook page;

"Friends, pls do not encourage those MORONS trying to spoil our good name/brand by helping them spread the false rumours. Keke and myself remain the best of friends and biz partners.We have been friends since the days of garri n ewa agoyin and would never ever let money come between us. There is no iota of truth to the rubbish being circulated on the internet. God bless."

Following the announcement of the winner, My Backyard Crew led by video director Gbenga Salu emerged as winners of the $2,500 top prize.
