Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon Speaks On Fuel Subsidy Removal

Honestly, I've been waiting for Hon. Patrick Obahiagbon to say something about this fuel subsidy removal, he makes politics so entertaining. Below is what he had to say;
"I have read with acatalectic disgust, governments asinine and puerile ratiocinations attempting to justiceate the proposed removal of subsidies from petroleum products. It has asseverated that it’s intentions is guided by the need to checkmate the odoriferous excesses of a machiavellian and mephistophelean cabal and i have said to myself, what a shame? What a self indicting admittal of the failure of governance? What anhocus-pocus? What an anathematous disdain for it’s citizenry?
Must the people now bear the brunt for governments ineptitude, inefficiency and pusillanimity in squaring up with these economic philistines and fat cows? I feel even more nauseated and vexed that the Governors Forum has posthaste conferred an apocalyptic imprimatur on this genie. Let’s not forget that majority of these same Governors had earlier called for this state of affairs as a condition sinequanon for paying the minimum wage. What an opprobrium? What a deprecable descent from the sublime to the ridiculous? It’s up to us all to put this Presidential and Gubernatorial genie back into the bottle but are we prepared?

WOW!!! 13,680 prostitutes operate in Lagos every night

Mrs. Ebele Nwuzor who runs an NGO, Sympathy Foundation Worldwide, which has a self-imposed task of rehabilitating prostitutes in Nigeria. In an interview with Saturday Sun, she revealed that 13,680 prostitutes operate in Lagos every night. She said;
"Since Amuwo Odoffin is our neighbourhood, we decided to carry out a survey on the number of girls into prostitution. As at 2008, we discovered that Amuwo Odofin local government had 24 brothels, nightclubs and hotels. We discovered that each of them has an average of 28 girls coming to hawk sex per night. Now, looking at the number of brothels and having 28 on the average, we were able to come up with 684 per night hawking sex in Amuwo Odofin. If you multiply that figure by 20 (local government areas in Lagos) you will arrive at 13,680 girls hawking sex per night in Lagos alone. Don’t forget that this number does not include freelancers and undergraduates who leave their schools and stand in the streets at night. The figure is for those who have owned up to the fact that prostitution is their business."

"My greatest challenge has been to walk far and clear from my father’s shadow" Paddy Adenuga

Incase you care to know, Paddy Adenuga is the son of Mike Adenuga jr. CEO/Founder of the giant telecomunication company "Globacom". Some time last year, there were rumors that Paddy is an arrogant daddy's boy who walks around with town with his security men who are fond of harassing people.

Well recently, Paddy was quoted to have said;
"My greatest challenge in life has been to walk far and clear from my father’s shadow. It’s been tough but I will get there".
Guess Paddy is not as bad as they say he is?

Funny OR NOT? Bishop Oyedepo Slaps President Jonathan

This video by Sahara Reporters hit the internet not too long ago, and it divided Nigerians. Some like Chimaad007 felt this is a disrespectful video, his comment read
"this is not funny. i wonder if it was a joke bout islam,it would be different. stop playing with christianity you bastards. fuck sahara. fuck these two grown up fucktards."
While some others felt the video potrays the true situation of things in Nigeria.
"Very interesting video. It was a little over done but I get the drift. Quite funny. A lot of Nigerians lose track of who God really is and start to worship their pastors. I call the lot of them, "fans of the preachers". Even Michael Jackson had more followers. Whenever Michael Jackson appeared, people began to faint. These priests have built such impact of fandom on a chump of their congregation and now coin the effects as power. What Oyedepo did was obviously wrong & yet his fans still support." Sallwellb
"They is nothing disrespect about the video for that is what journalism is about.The YouTube is a social media where oppressed ppl can express themselves without government censorship.Come to think of it.IS GEJ NOT WORKING FOR IMF AND WORLD TO THE DETRIMENT OF NIGERIANS ? The answer is YES and that is being a bitch and a witch."  Tanhanka3000
What's your take on this? Did Sahara Reporters go too far or did they do they hit the nail on the head by portraying the true situation of things in the country?

Genevieve Nnaji Shares Her Stake On President GEJ Fuel Subsidy Removal

The Mayhem in Nigeria over the removal of fuel subsidy continues to intensify. Nollywood Star Actress, Genevieve Nnaji shares her stake on President Goodluck Jonathan removal of fuel subsidy, when she stated that;
"I still can't help but feel [that] it [fuel subsidy removal] is the right move at the wrong time. There is tension and unease [everywhere]."

The multiple award winning actress continue to share her view, stating further that;
"I own quite a few things that consume a whole lot of fuel, so, yes. I am a concerned citizen. Someone tried to explain the positive impact the removal [of fuel subsidy] would bring to the economy, just like GSM did. I could see the point but I don't think a proper explaination was given to the public".
