Roadside Plantain Sellers Selling Plantain On Suit And Tie

Its amazing to realize that full grown men are selling on suit and tie. They are not just doing it the normal way, but in an advanced way.

These gentle men selling roasted plantain and hawking on  the street dressed in tie and suit. I'm sure they are graduates. This is to say there's dignity in every Labour.

The other Gentleman has been selling roasted plantain for the past two years on the pavement right in the middle of the road at Dzorwulo Junction, which is now part of the new George W. Bush Highway in Accra. He says business is booming and that he doesn't feel shy selling the roasted plantain with his suit on.

In this amazing story a Masvingo woman and her son have fallen in love with one another. And now they want to marry since the mom, Betty Mbereko from Mwenezi in Masvingo, is six months pregnant and expecting her son's child.

40-year old Mbereko, who was widowed 12 years ago, has been cohabiting with her first child, Farai Mbereko who is just 23.

She has reportedly confirmed that she is six months pregnant and that she has decided it is better to marry her 23-year old son because she does not want to marry her late husband's young brothers, whom she says are coveting her.

Betty amazed a village court last week when she said the affair with her son had begun three years earlier. She said after spending a lot of money sending Farai to school following the death of her husband, she felt she had a right to his money and no other woman was entitled to it.

Wow!!! Australia Woman Scams A Nigerian Scammer Of More Than $30k

Nawa ooo!!! An Aussie woman steals more than $30,000 from Nigerian scam artists. Sarah Jane Cochrane-Ramsey, 23, was employed by the Nigerians as an "agent" in March 2010 but was unaware they were scam artists, the Brisbane District Court heard today.

According to source, her job was to provide an Australian bank account through which they could funnel any payments they received through their dodgy account on a popular car sales website. Cochrane-Ramsey was to keep eight per cent of all money paid into her account and forward the rest to the Nigerian scammers.

However, the court heard she kept the two payments she received - totaling $33,350 - and spent most of it on herself.The car buyers who were ripped off reported the matter to police, who traced the account to Cochrane-Ramsey.Police inquiries found her employers were based in Nigeria but had been using a web server in New York to run their dodgy car sales listings.

Cochrane-Ramsey pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated fraud on Thursday. Judge Terry Martin described her as having a "dishonest bent" after hearing she had a history of stealing and property offenses. He adjourned the sentence to allow her time to provide further details of money she claimed was in a bank account that would allow her to make some repayments.Cochrane-Ramsey will be sentenced next month.She was allowed bail until then.

15 Day Old Miraculous Nigerian Baby Headline "Times Of India" For Winning Survivor Battle In India

In what is tagged to be a miracle, A 15-day-old Nigerian baby, born with improperly developed food pipe, has successfully undergone surgical correction of her digestive tract at a hospital in Pune, India, Times of India reported on Wednesday. Read their report below.

"The baby showed significant post-operative recovery and was discharged on Tuesday.Baby Chemeire Ibewuike’s oesophagus was not developed, a condition known as oesophagus atresia.“It is a rare congenital defect, in which the food pipe connecting the mouth to the stomach is shortened and closed (dead-ended) at some point. The condition is called ‘esophageal atresia’. It affects approximately one in 4,000 live babies as in most cases babies get aborted because of the severe abnormality,” said paediatric surgeon Dasmit Singh, who operated upon the baby at Jehangir hospital on February 5.“Normally, babies with such condition need to be operated within hours after birth. Otherwise the child dies. However, in this case, the child was operated after 15 days of birth. Even then, it has survived and done well,” Singh said.The mother was delivered of twin babies in Imo State on January 22, of which one died at birth. Two days later the parents were told that the surviving baby had potentially life threatening complications. The father, himself a doctor, was aware that survival rates were very low in Nigeria for babies with the defect his daughter had been born with (undeveloped food pipe).Through an intermediary, the father contacted Singh, who assured him that the baby can be saved.The parents reached Pune on February 2.“Since the baby could not take any oral feed, it was put on intravenous drip. Seeing the baby’s condition, two airlines refused to take us in. All the travel management and journey took eight days. Hence, by the time we reached Pune, 10 days had already passed,” Chemeire’s mother Victoria told TOI.“The child was rushed to the neonatal intensive care unit, where I and her team had to resuscitate the child as she was highly dehydrated and very sick. All the accumulated secretions were sucked out, the baby was started on oxygen and then investigated,” neona- thologist, Anshu Sethi said.Singh said, “The baby was in no condition to be operated. She would not have survived the anaesthesia and surgery. So, in consultation with the parents, we postponed surgery till her condition stabilised and improved.”

TOBI explores the consequences of what happens when 21-year-old Tobi (Mark Williams) bows to the dark side of gang pressure. In a flash, a seemingly morally upright young man gets caught in a web of violence, guns, bloodshed, drugs, parental expectations and conflicting voices in his head.

Interestingly, the bond of brotherhood also stretches the thematic window of choices and sacrifice. The director, Bethels Agomuoh further bridges the gap between the Nollywood and Hollywood by shooting a Nigerian picture in the United States with a healthy blend of American and Nigerian cast.

TOBI been scheduled to premiere in Nigerian cinemas on April 13, 2012 and will feature a red carpet premiere in Lagos. I can't wait!!
